Dr. Julie Tan is Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at McMaster University. She completed her PhD and medical degree at the University of Toronto, and underwent residency training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at McMaster University, followed by fellowships in hepatology and transplant hepatology at the University of Toronto. Her academic interests include teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She specializes in the care of patients with liver disease with an interest in pre-and post-liver transplantation.
